Arsenal Come Back Late to Clip Aeropostales
|
The South Bay Arsenal turned back the Indian Wells Aeropostales, 4-3, at Cruz Bay Park. Camden Mansel was named player of the game for his fine performance. He was 3-4 with 3 singles, while scoring 3 times. With the victory, the Arsenal record now stands at 71-59.
Late in the game, right fielder Juan Negrón had a big at-bat for South Bay. In the bottom of the eighth, he hit a run-scoring single off Frank Cronshaw. The play gave the Arsenal a 4-3 lead.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Indian Wells manager Brad Anderson.
