Tony De La Garza was the difference-maker for the Silver Lake Baristas in what turned into a shootout with the Acapulco Banditos. De La Garza earned the player of the game award after going 2-for-4 in the 13-9 Baristas win. Silver Lake reliever John Deschamps picked up the win, bumping his record to 3-7. Aubert Licci was collared with the loss. The Baristas' win now puts them at 56-70.

The most important at-bat for Silver Lake came in the top of the ninth inning, when center fielder Alfonso Rodríguez stroked a 1-0 cutter to right for a 2-run triple, putting Silver Lake up, 11-9.

Rodríguez said afterward that he was glad to contribute to the win.
