Riding the 3-hit performance of the 23-year old third baseman Waqar Kharoti, the Coronado Phantoms stopped the Amarillo Horseman, 10-0. Coronado reliever You-liang Rang picked up the win, upping his record to 3-5. Austin Meyers took the loss. At 64-63, Coronado is in 4th place in the Kade Stenson League Swinging Friar Division.

Kharoti in the bottom of the fifth had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and the Phantoms leading 5-0, he hit a grand slam.

Amarillo manager Okitsugu Azuma called the blowout loss "a real stinker."
