Mdewanketon center fielder Mark Rigden had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 7-6, to Scranton at Hell Stadium. Rigden was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Scranton reliever Juan Núñez picked up the win, upping his record to 5-3. Barrett Jackson absorbed the loss. Shane Westmacott finished to wrap up his 5th save.

Scranton took the lead in the bottom of the fifth on a big hit from Luis López. On a first pitch fastball from Bradley Bowra, López hit a run-scoring single. That made it 6-5, Escape. For the day, López was 2-3 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Scranton manager Jason Clark.

The 'W' lifts Scranton's record to 41-88.
