The skies opened up and the rain fell at Sick's Stadium.

Seattle Sasquatch starter Koryusai Uchida was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the San Diego Hops, 3-2. Shi-xian Le sewed up the save, his 2nd.

Ruberto Sucena chipped in for Seattle, stroking a crucial solo home run in the bottom of the fifth inning. For the game, the first baseman went 1-2 with a home run and a walk.

"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Randy England.

Even with the win, it has been a disastrous start to the year for the Sasquatch, who once had aspirations of returning to the playoffs but now find themselves mired in 6th place at 7-13.
