Phantoms Take Down Chiefs, 6-3

The Champaign Chiefs and Coronado Phantoms were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd at Orange Field.
A 4-RBI performance from the 24-year old first baseman Susumu Yamamoto helped the Coronado Phantoms beat the Champaign Chiefs, 6-3. The Chiefs, now 50-71, have lost 4 in a row.
Hae-nim Kim went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk for Coronado. The 24-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the top of the second. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Jim Unknown. It was his 51st RBI of the season.
Kim told a Coronado Herald reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
