The Scranton Escape defeated the Acapulco Banditos, 8-6, at Underdogs Ballpark. Scranton first baseman Hyeon-cheong Ko was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 4 for 5 with 4 singles and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Shane Westmacott converted his 2nd save in 4 tries. Even with the win, the Escape have a dismal 36-86 record.

Attana Thukral aided the Scranton cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the 11th. For the game, the pinch hitter drew 1 walk in his only trip to the plate.
