Great Day for Patey in Baristas Win
Silver Lake beat South Bay at Cruz Bay Park, escaping with a 10-9 win. The win in large part was due to left fielder Tristan Patey, who earned player of the game honors. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5. Silver Lake reliever Alfredo Crespo picked up the win to move to 3-0. Bud Eldridge suffered the loss. The win puts the Baristas at 53-67, while the Arsenal drop to 67-53.

In a game filled with surprises, perhaps none was as big as Patey's contribution. The Silver Lake left fielder is a relative newcomer. With no one out in the top of the seventh, when the Baristas had the bases loaded, Patey delivered a crucial grand slam home run.
