Fairfield beat Mdewanketon, 4-3. The win in part was due to catcher Jesús Velásquez, who nabbed player of the game honors. He was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The first-place Flash, at 75-46, now lead their division by 7 games.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With no one out, Velásquez hit a fastball from Curtis Cahill for a solo home run. The Flash, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
