Spirited fans at Stars Field greeted the Indian Wells Aeropostales for their clash with the Albuquerque Cacti.
The Albuquerque Cacti dealt the Indian Wells Aeropostales a 5-1 loss at Stars Field. Kevin Campbell was the star on offense. He went 2-2 with a home run, a walk, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times. Albuquerque is in 5th place in the Kade Stenson League Swinging Friar Division with a record of 58-63.
It could have been a different outcome for Albuquerque, had it not been for Kinnojo Iwamoto, the 28-year old second baseman . Iwamoto contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Albuquerque up, 4-0.
"It feels good to get this one," Campbell told the Albuquerque Gazette.
