Velásquez Leads Flash to Win over Escape

Benefiting from the performance of Jesús Velásquez, the Fairfield Flash defeated the Scranton Escape, 9-5. Velásquez was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4 for the Flash. The first-place Flash have won 5 in a row.
Velásquez was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4 against the Escape. In the top of the first inning, he hit a grand slam that scored 4 and put Fairfield in front, 4-0.
