The Mdewanketon Sabercats defeated the South Bay Arsenal, 4-2, at Mystic Lake Stadium. Mdewanketon second baseman Harry Stevens was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 2 for 3 with a triple, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times. The 4th-place Sabercats improved to 55-64.
One of the key players for the Sabercats was left fielder Manchu Liu, who drilled a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fifth inning. For the game, Liu went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Liu said.
