The South Bay Arsenal eked out a 7-6 win versus the Scranton Escape at Cruz Bay Park. Nobody did more than catcher Ken Boyer, who captured player of the game honors. Adelino Vilar picked up the win, improving his season record to 3-1. He struck out 2 in 6 innings. After today's action, South Bay sits at 65-51, while Scranton falls to 34-83.

Boyer contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was one of the critical at-bats that helped South Bay get the win.

"We found a way to get it done," Boyer said.
