Sabean Hits 2 home runs in Phantoms Win
|
The Coronado Phantoms stymied the Wichita Wranglers, 6-2, at Phantoms Field. Andy Sabean, who had a good day at the plate, was named player of the game. He went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for Coronado. Ajdir Kasakya finished to wrap up his 24th save. The last-place Wranglers have dropped 4 straight games.
Sabean had an important at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the bottom of the first, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Phantoms went on to win.
"It all depends on which version of our team shows up," said Sabean. "When we put it all together, I think we're a great team."
