First Baseman Reyes goes 3-for-4 in Win
|
Albuquerque Sports Stadium was the site for Kade Stenson League action featuring the Albuquerque Cacti and Silver Lake Baristas.
The Silver Lake Baristas thumped the Albuquerque Cacti, 8-1, at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. Pedro Reyes was a big reason his team got the win. Reyes went 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The Cacti, now 52-59, have lost 4 in a row.
An important at-bat for Silver Lake came with two out in the top of the fifth. With a runner on 1st, Reyes hit a run-scoring triple, which contributed to the Baristas win.
"We were firing on all cylinders today," said Silver Lake Baristas manager Chris MacArtney.
