Kansas City got a terrific game from first baseman Paul Robinson. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Mile High, 8-6. Robinson was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Aaron Taylor recorded his 4th save for Mile High. The win brings the Mustangs to 6-13, an awful start for a team that made the playoffs just last season.

Nakamaro Sato, who is tied for 5th in the TML in extra base hits with 10, aided the Mile High cause with a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth. For the game, the designated hitter went 1 for 5 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Sato, "but we got it done."
