Horseman Win at Mdewanketon, 5-1
|
Mike Bunch never let the Sabercats get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his change up, to pitch the Horseman to a 5-1 win. Jackson Thompson finished the game for Amarillo and earned his 3rd save. The second-place Horseman have won 4 straight.
Amarillo left fielder Tak-hing Wang helped the Horseman go up, 2-0, in the top of the third inning. With the game tied, Wang hit a 2-run double off Mdewanketon pitcher Mitsuo Kobayashi.
"I like the roll we're on," said Amarillo manager Okitsugu Azuma.
