The Mdewanketon Sabercats got a good effort from starter Guan-pei Thian in defeating the Albuquerque Cacti at Mystic Lake Stadium. The final score was 5-2. The Sabercats go to 51-59, putting them 5th in the Kade Stenson League Lou Seal Division.

With a runner on 2nd and two out in the bottom of the seventh inning, left fielder Manchu Liu delivered big for the Sabercats. Mdewanketon was leading 3-2 when he belted a 2-run home run.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Thian said.
