The Seattle Sasquatch defeated the San Diego Hops, 9-2, in Roberto Clemente League action at Sick's Stadium. Matt Clark received player of the game honors. The 8-year veteran hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 5. António Navarro earned the win to go to 1-2. He allowed 2 earned runs on 11 hits, with 3 walks and 4 strikeouts. The Sasquatch, now 6-13, have not found much traction so far in 2028.

Ruberto Sucena came through for Seattle when he hit a 2-run double in the bottom of the sixth. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 0-1 slider to left field, staking his team to a 4-2 lead.

"I hope we get a nice reward for this win," said Sucena. "Like maybe a lighter workout schedule."
