Allan Lays Hammer Down in 2-0 Win
In a tight battle between the Duke City Danger and the Las Vegas Gamblers, pitcher Ross Allan was in the zone. The Duke City right-hander was named the player of the game in Duke City's 2-0 win. Carlos Núñes earned the save for Duke City, his 5th of the year. Even with the win, it has been a disastrous start to the year for the Danger, who once had aspirations of returning to the playoffs but now find themselves mired in 5th place at 7-13.

Allan subdued the Las Vegas offense. The Duke City right-hander allowed a mere 4 hits over 8.1 innings, while fanning 12. His season record goes to 2-2 with the win.

"We didn't score," said losing manager Jesús Alfaro. "That was the problem."
