Sabercats Win at Silver Lake, 8-2
|
The Mdewanketon Sabercats and starting pitcher Tsunesaburo Yoshida stifled the Silver Lake offense en route to a comfortable 8-2 win at Ashton Gate. At 42-53, the Sabercats are currently 5th in the Kade Stenson League Lou Seal Division.
Sudhin Diwan played a key role in the win. The Mdewanketon designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second. For the game, Diwan went 1 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Yoshida.
