The exploits of third baseman Tony De La Garza helped the Silver Lake Baristas defeat the Mdewanketon Sabercats, 7-2. De La Garza went 2-4 with 2 home runs. Jon Morris, credited with the win, is now 5-3. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2 innings. With the win, Silver Lake goes to 40-53, while the Sabercats fall to 41-53.
Masamune Fujimoto, the Silver Lake center fielder, contributed a bases-clearing double in the bottom of the second inning to make the score 4-1, Baristas. For the game, Fujimoto went 1-3 with a double and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
