Suzuki Slaps 7 Hits
Indian Wells Aeropostales shortstop Motonobu Suzuki had a day to remember at Durham Bulls Athletic Park today, ripping apart the Fairfield Flash and sparking the Aeropostales to a 28-10 victory.

Suzuki wrote his name in the record books with a 7-hit barrage, finishing his special day 7-for-8.

"I'm usually a first ball hitter," Suzuki told BNN reporters in the postgame press conference. "I think pitchers think batters are going to let the first one go by. I never do. I've always found that it's better to pull the trigger early in the count. Pitchers get real nasty when they get ahead of you, so I try to avoid that."

Motonobu Suzuki singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and flied out in the 9th.

For the season Suzuki is currently batting .310 with 8 home runs and 54 RBIs. In 92 games he has reached base at a .378 rate and scored 63 runs to date.
