Arsenal Suffer 6-1 Setback
|
The South Bay Arsenal and Indian Wells Aeropostales were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd at Stars Field.
Riding the 2-hit performance of the 32-year old center fielder Katsumi Uchida, the Indian Wells Aeropostales stopped the South Bay Arsenal, 6-1. Indian Wells is second in the Kade Stenson League Swinging Friar Division with a record of 56-37.
Sean Childers delivered a big hit for the Aeropostales. The veteran catcher belted a solo home run in the bottom of the third. The longball put Indian Wells on top, 3-1. Overall, Childers was 1-4 with a home run.
Uchida said afterward that he was glad to contribute to the win.
