Acapulco and Silver Lake duked it out at Ashton Gate and the Banditos came out victorious.
The Silver Lake Baristas got a superb performance from center fielder Masamune Fujimoto, but the Acapulco Banditos still won the game, 6-4. Fujimoto was named the player of the game despite the loss. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 2 times. The 6th-place Baristas have lost 5 straight games.
Early in the game, third baseman Rhett Cawse had a grand slam home run for Acapulco. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Banditos on top, 6-2.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Cawse.
