Cruz Bay Park was the site for Kade Stenson League action featuring the South Bay Arsenal and Fort Worth Cats.
Fort Worth Cats starter Badarisaila Suravinda turned in a top-notch performance against the South Bay Arsenal at Cruz Bay Park. The result was a win for the Cats, 6-1. Suravinda, the winner, moves to 1-3. He threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 7 and giving up 1 walk.
Raúl Martínez's at-bat in the top of the fourth inning was a big one for Fort Worth. Coming to bat with two out, the bases loaded and Fort Worth leading 3-1, the center fielder drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Martínez.
Fort Worth goes to 58-31. The win puts them 4 games up in their division.
