Ortíz Helps Mdewanketon Cruise to 18-3 Win
|
The Mdewanketon Sabercats put together a convincing win at Underdogs Ballpark, defeating the Acapulco Banditos, 18-3. Salvador Ortíz was one of the hitting stars. He went 4 for 5 with a home run, 3 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 4 times and drove in 5 for Mdewanketon. Acapulco, at 38-46, has lost 4 straight.
Ortíz had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the fifth inning, when he hit a grand slam. The Sabercats went on to win.
