Shaun Sharp was the difference-maker for the Indian Wells Aeropostales in what turned into a shootout with the Amarillo Horseman. Sharp earned the player of the game award after going 2-for-3 in the 16-10 Aeropostales win. Indian Wells reliever Luca Hatch got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Henry McGaughey was tagged with the loss. Indian Wells has now won 5 straight.

Sharp's nice game included a clutch 2-run home run in the bottom of the first.

"I like seeing our guys get a return on what they've put in," said Indian Wells manager Brad Anderson.
