Albuquerque got a strong outing from Gareth Scholes as the Cacti defeated the Indian Wells Aeropostales, 4-2, at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. Albuquerque now owns a record of 43-38.

Muralidaran Purujit contributed to the Albuquerque win. The 27-year old right fielder stroked a 2-run home run in the bottom of the first. For the game, Purujit went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Albuquerque Cacti manager Jorge Velásquez.
