A nice crowd turned out to see the Fairfield Flash and Mdewanketon Sabercats clash at Mystic Lake Stadium.

The Fairfield Flash topped the Mdewanketon Sabercats by the score of 7-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to catcher Nesto Castillo. Castillo went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Flash on the day. Mdewanketon's current losing streak is now 5 games.

Castillo had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the fourth, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Flash went on to win.

"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Fairfield manager Gary Altman.
