Henderson goes 4-for-4 as Armada Squeeze Past Kansas City
The Quebec Armada defeated the Kansas City Tornadoes, 8-7, in Thurman Munson League action at Lucky 7 Ballpark. Jeffrey Henderson received player of the game honors. The 8-year veteran went 4 for 4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times. Oniji Nakashima earned the win to go to 1-0. He allowed 4 earned runs on 12 hits, with no walks and 4 strikeouts. The Armada, now 2-0, have hit the ground running this season.

There were several reasons the Armada beat the Tornadoes, but one factor was Pramana Djambek. In the bottom of the fifth, the Quebec third baseman came to bat and hit a 2-run double. It staked his team to a 5-3 lead.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Quebec Armada manager Neal Jackson. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
