The Acapulco Banditos picked up a win at Underdogs Ballpark, knocking off the Fairfield Flash, 5-3. Starting pitcher Fred Campbell, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Campbell went 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 3, and struck out 4. His record improves to 5-8. Acapulco, now 36-40, holds 4th place in the Kade Stenson League Lou Seal Division.

Union City, California-born Andreas Ryan came through in the clutch. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st and the Banditos trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run home run to right to put Acapulco on top.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling pretty confident after that win," said Ryan.
