Dedicated fans at Albuquerque Sports Stadium weathered the storm to watch their beloved Cacti beat the Wranglers.

Albuquerque starter Shu-yaan Qi had a strong outing against the Wichita Wranglers at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 10-7 win. Albuquerque reliever Shu-yaan Qi was credited with the win, to go to 2-2. John Spracklin took the loss for Wichita.

Albuquerque took the lead with no one out in the bottom of the first when Muralidaran Purujit stroked a 2-run double. That made the score 2-0 in favor of Albuquerque. For the day, Purujit was 2 for 5 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"You never take a win for granted in this league," said Purujit.
