Silver Lake beat Albuquerque in a rain-soaked ballgame.

Silver Lake Baristas starter Kaoru Kato was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Albuquerque Cacti, 5-3. Silver Lake, at 36-38, occupies 4th place in the Kade Stenson League Lou Seal Division.

Pedro Reyes brought the hometown crowd to its feet with no one out in the bottom of the third. That's when the 28-year old first baseman belted a 3-run home run. With the round-tripper, the Baristas took the lead, 4-1.

"Some of the guys in here work pretty hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Kato told the Silver Lake Daily.
