Purujit Excels, Albuquerque Blows Out Mdewanketon
The Albuquerque Cacti clobbered the Mdewanketon Sabercats, 13-3, at Albuquerque Sports Stadium today. Albuquerque right fielder Muralidaran Purujit was named player of the game for his productive day. He went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 6. The Cacti, now 38-32, have won 5 in a row.

Purujit contributed when he hit a grand slam in the bottom of the seventh. Coming with two outs and the bases loaded, the home run proved to be critical to helping Albuquerque get the win.

"This team is real focused right now," said Albuquerque Cacti manager Jorge Velásquez.
