Riding the 1-hit performance of the 32-year old center fielder Bill Wilcox, the Acapulco Banditos stopped the Albuquerque Cacti, 7-1. Acapulco reliever Pedro Pérez picked up the win, upping his record to 4-1. Gareth Scholes took the loss. Acapulco is now 30-35, Albuquerque 33-32.

Wilcox delivered in the bottom of the third for Acapulco. With the game tied and the bases loaded, the center fielder hit a bases-clearing triple to left-center.

"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Wilcox said.
