Gamblers Lose to Texans in Walk Off
|
In a low-scoring clash between Dallas and Las Vegas, pitcher Paul Johnston was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned player of the game honors for Dallas in the 3-2 win. With the loss, Las Vegas drops to 8-9.
Tzu-yu Xuan changed the game with one swing of the bat. With two out in the bottom of the ninth, the Dallas third baseman hammered a solo home run off David Duarte. It was his 1st home run of the season. With it, Dallas took the lead, 3-2.
"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Xuan.
