In a tight contest at Cruz Bay Park, the South Bay Arsenal edged the Albuquerque Cacti by the score of 5-4. South Bay right fielder John Harrison, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. The winner was South Bay reliever Rubén Marino, now 3-2. The loser was Yok-sing Tann. South Bay is third in the Kade Stenson League Lou Seal Division with a record of 30-27.
Ron Woods had a clutch at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for the Arsenal. Coming up with runners on 2nd and 3rd and South Bay trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run single.
"It feels good to get this one," Harrison told the South Bay Bulletin.
