The Fort Worth Cats and Scranton Escape played a tight game at LaGrave Field, with the hosts claiming the hard-fought win.
In a low-scoring clash between Fort Worth and Scranton, pitcher George Bedford was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned player of the game honors for Fort Worth in the 3-1 win. Bedford got the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed 6 hits and walked 5 over 7 innings. Bedford allowed 1 earned run. The save went to Chong-su Kwon, his 6th this season.
