Fort Worth Cats starter Aidan Kenneil had all his pitches working at LaGrave Field. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-2 Fort Worth win over the Scranton Escape. Kenneil, the winner, moves to 8-2. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 2 and giving up 4 walks. The Cats are now 38-20, while the Escape fall to 14-44.
Henry Morris gave Fort Worth a good at-bat in the bottom of the sixth inning. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a run-scoring single to help send Fort Worth to the win.
"I thought we played a nice game," Kenneil told the Fort Worth Today. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
