|
Pitcher Leonard Lee was sensational for the Amarillo Horseman in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Champaign Chiefs. Lee received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. The Horseman saw their record improve to 32-23.
Amarillo grabbed control in the top of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Steve Wheeler delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 1-0 in favor of the Horseman.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Lee said.
