The Silver Lake Baristas grabbed a 6-1 win over the Scranton Escape at Ashton Gate. Silver Lake first baseman Pedro Reyes was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 to earn player of the game honors. Silver Lake reliever Tex Sweet picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Roy Aitken shouldered the loss. Scranton's current losing streak is now 4 games.
The Baristas got a big at-bat from designated hitter Donald Hagar. For the game, Hagar was 1-4 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Silver Lake a 3-1 lead.
