Banditos Win Behind Campbell, 3-1
|
Fans who gathered at Mystic Lake Stadium saw a good contest between the Acapulco Banditos and Mdewanketon Sabercats.
Pitcher Fred Campbell was sensational for the Acapulco Banditos in his team's 3-1 triumph over the Mdewanketon Sabercats. Campbell received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. The Acapulco winning streak has now reached 5 games.
Campbell was the winning pitcher. He raised his season record to 2-6. In 8 innings of work, Campbell gave up 1 earned run on 3 hits, while striking out 6. The Sabercats were never able to generate much offense.
"I like our mindset right now," said Acapulco manager Barry Bowman.
