The Wichita Wranglers went down to defeat to Atsushi Iitsuka and his South Bay teammates. The final score was 4-2 in favor of the Arsenal. Bud Eldridge was credited with the save for South Bay, his 1st of the season. The Arsenal go to 25-21, putting them second in the Kade Stenson League Lou Seal Division.
Also making an impact was shortstop Juan Ortíz, who drilled a solo home run in the top of the fourth inning for the Arsenal. For the game, Ortíz went 1-4 with a home run.
"It was just a matter of executing," said South Bay manager Garfield Christian.
