Toreros Losing Streak at 5 After Extra-Inning Loss to Jacks
There was no shortage of dramatics at Skellington Stadium today.

Jacksonville beat Cabo San Lucas at Skellington Stadium, escaping with a 10-9 win. The win in large part was due to third baseman Denzel Tatchell, who earned player of the game honors. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Jacksonville reliever Ed Armstrong was the winner. His record is now 2-1. The losing pitcher was Paco Berroa.

When he came to bat in the bottom of the 11th, Éloi Teissier had a chance to end it. Cabo San Lucas pitcher Mulia Kathirithamby had other ideas. But with two outs, Teissier hit a walk-off run-scoring single. The Jacks had the win.

"Big win," said Tatchell.

Jacksonville has a mark of 9-8 after the win.
