The Acapulco Banditos stopped the Scranton Escape, 5-3, at Underdogs Ballpark. The Banditos got a big game from Coy Jacobs, who was 1-1 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Acapulco reliever Nick Riley picked up the win, bumping his record to 2-1. Huibert van Claveren was collared with the loss. Today's win puts Acapulco at 19-24, while Scranton falls to 11-32.

Jacobs had one of his biggest at-bats in the bottom of the seventh. Facing Huibert van Claveren, the Acapulco slugger hit a 3-run home run. Suddenly, what had been a 3-2 Acapulco deficit turned into a 5-3 lead. For Jacobs, it was his 1st home run of the season.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Jacobs.
