The Albuquerque Cacti picked up a win at Albuquerque Sports Stadium, knocking off the Fort Worth Cats, 5-2. On the mound for Albuquerque was right-hander Darren de Koning, who played a pivotal role in the win. Albuquerque reliever Shunji Kurota picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Zak Bodle shouldered the loss. Albuquerque is 4th in the Kade Stenson League Swinging Friar Division with a record of 22-19.

Albuquerque took control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Kinnojo Iwamoto hit a 2-run double to make it 4-2, Cacti.
