Seattle got a strong outing from Koryusai Uchida as the Sasquatch defeated the New York Mafia, 5-2, at Don Corleone Park. Shi-xian Le earned the save for Seattle, his 1st. Even with the win, it has been a disastrous start to the year for the Sasquatch, who once had aspirations of returning to the playoffs but now find themselves mired in last place at 5-11.

Bill Nelson delivered a big hit for the Sasquatch. The veteran left fielder belted a solo home run in the top of the first. The longball put Seattle on top, 2-0. Overall, Nelson was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs.

"Nice to get this one," said Nelson. "Wins have been hard to come by."
