Dela goes 4-for-4 as Aeropostales Squeeze Past Champaign
Indian Wells beat Champaign at Orange Field, escaping with a 8-7 win. The win in large part was due to catcher Jesús Dela, who earned player of the game honors. He was 4-4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while adding 6 RBI and scoring once. Shih-k'ai Mi finished the game for Indian Wells and earned his 11th save. Champaign's current losing streak is now 4 games.

Dela had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the second inning, when he hit a bases-clearing double. The Aeropostales went on to win.

In comments to the Indian Wells Bulletin, Dela insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
