Right-hander Edgardo Félix mesmerized the Mdewanketon Sabercats while leading the Des Moines Spartans to a 5-0 victory. Their 20-18 record puts the Spartans second in the Kade Stenson League Lou Seal Division.
Félix earned the win, going 7 strong innings for Des Moines. The native of Metepec, Mexico allowed just 3 hits, while striking out 8. Mdewanketon hitters did next to nothing against the right-hander.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling pretty confident after that win," said Félix.
